In Loving Memory of Joe L. Pugh Jr. Little Joe, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on Oct. 2, 1960, in Nacogdoches, TX, Little Joe lived a life marked by strength, kindness, and dedication to those he loved. Above all else, Little Joe was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He found joy in fishing and cooking, and he touched the lives of many through his generosity and sense of humor. Those who knew him will remember him always. He is survived by his sister Brenda Brooks, sons Deric, Nay, and Arsenio, and daughter Lakiya. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Pugh Sr, his mother, Sue Brooks, his brother, Ronald Brooks Sr., and his son, Jaquaylieon Thomas. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the time we shared with him and the lessons he taught us. His love, guidance, and memory will remain with us always. "Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the hearts of those they touched." Forever loved, forever remembered.
